Weekend Workshops

Magic Loop: Sat 9/20 2-4PM $30: 
learn the magic loop method for
knitting any size circumference
in the round without double
pointed needles. the book is

Finishing/Seaming: Sat 9/27 2-4PM $30: 
If you have never seamed anything before
or have & wish the result had been better
this class can help you! Learn various
methods to finish & seam your projects
beautifully.

Cablng without a cable needlle: Sun 9/28
2-4 PM $25
Enjoy cabling and twisting stitches but
sick of being tied down with a cable
needle? Join this workshop where we
will go over how to cable without that
pesky needle!

Classes and Workshops

At Patricia's Yarns we strive to offer classes where the student learns & is proficient with the subject matter. It is our mission to have students master techniques so they can be applied to any project you like! If you have a project in mind that doesn't fit to a scheduled class, we can arrange a private class to provide personal, tailored instruction to complete your goal.

Beginners Knitting
$95 for four two-hour classes
Learn the basics of knitting including how to cast on, knit, purl, increase, decrease, and bind off. Materials are included. Classes are limited to 6 students.

• September: 4 Mondays 7-9pm. 9/15, 9/22, 9/29 & 10/6
  4 Tuesdays 7-9pm. 9/9, 9/16, 9/23, 9/30
• October: 4 Wedneadays 7-9pm, 10/8, 10/15, 10/22 & 10/29

Baby or Child Gifts
$45 + materials
Kids are everywhere! Do you want to knit something special for a baby or child but not sure what to make? This is the perfect class for you to pamper someone special. Options include sweaters, hats, mittens, booties or blankets so there is osmething for all skill levels. Choose a project (or 2 or 3) to learn a new skill or tackle a challenge with guidence!

• September: 3 Wednesdays 7-8:30pm. 9/17, 9/24 & 10/1

Socks! Socks! Socks!
$50 plus materials
Learn how to make a basic sock! You'll never believe how easy it is to make these foot warmers. This three session class is the perfect opportunity to increase your skills as a knitter! Must know how to knit and purl.

• October: 3 Thursdays 7-8:30 pm, 10/2, 10/9 & 10/16

To secure your place, registration may be processed in the shop or over the phone with payment of Visa or Mastercard. If you are unable to attend class, you must contact us no later than 7 days prior to the start of class in order to receieve a full refund if notice is not given we cannot issue you a refund or credit.

Design Your Own Shrug
$50 plus materials
Shrugs are a great accessory to have when evening turn cool or in the office to keep warm. Come and design your own for whatever fits your lifestyle! If you want something soft and fuzzy or something sofy and summery like cotton or bamboo it's up to you! Suggested material list will be provided upon registration.

Beyond Beginners
$50 kit included
Expand your knowledge base beyond beginners knitting class in this one - two hour session. We will go over cabling, color work and fixing mistakes to give you more confidence and knowledge. The kit will include yarn and acessories needed for the class. Please bring Size 9 needles with you.

Winterwear
$40 + materials
Hats, mittens or scarves - this class has something for everyone and every skill level. Make yourself or someone else a winterwear item to keep warm. You should know how to cast on, knit, purl and bind off for this class. It's a great opportunity to introduce or review increasing and decreasing skills

Private Lessons
$50 per hour
By appointment only. An alternative to the Beginner Classes. These can be split with a friend.
